Who is your cheerleader in life? Do they really have your best interest at heart? These are questions that no one really likes to ask. It's easier to presume that those who are around us who encourage us are looking out for us as well. That's not always the case though.
Sometimes those who seem to want us to succeed are not wanting you to succeed because they like you, but because they want to see you fail. I know it's hard to believe this, but I myself, have had this issue in the past. Watch out for those that can only be classified as "friendemies". That is friends who are really enemies.
There is an old saying, keep your fiends close and your enemies closer. This can lead to situations where there are those who who seem to want you to succeed, but really want you to fail. Watch out for these people and cut them out as soon as you find them.
It is better to have only a few, really close friends, than a large group of semi close enemies.
